Beacon, Inc. - Crawford Homes Program

Crawford Homes is a program of Beacon, Inc. that offers permanent housing with supportive services to individuals and families who experience chronic homelessness and disabilities.

Residents are housed in Crawford Apartments, as well as scattered-site apartments throughout the community. Case managers work onsite to provide supportive services and additional programming is available to residents in order to enhance their health and housing stability. 

UPDATE Oct 2020: Shalom Community Center has changed the organization name to Beacon, to better reflect the breadth of our services for people in our community who are living in poverty.

We will keep Crawford Homes as the name of our housing first program and to represent just one of the many programs we continue to offer under the Beacon umbrella.  

Beacon offices continue to operate out of Shalom Center at 620 S Walnut St in Bloomington.
