American Association Of Retired Persons (AARP) Tax-Aide Program

We provide high quality free income tax assistance and tax form preparation to low- and middle-income taxpayers with special attention to those age 50 and older.  You do not need to be a member of AARP nor is there an income limit.  We can do most returns within our scope.

Tax counselors prepare tax forms and/or answer questions to the extent of his/her current training at assigned tax assistance sites. Tax preparation will begin Feb 1 and continue until April 15. 

If interested in volunteering, prospective volunteers should notify Doris Wittenburg, Coordinator, by October 15. This is necessary so training materials can be ordered for you and delivered on time. Email or call at 812-727-4836.
