Pillar Arts

Pillar Arts identifies six distinct arts groups within the arts community: visual arts, literary arts, music, dance, theatre & film, and galleries, venues, & festivals. Representatives for each group communicate their genre’s unique perspectives and concerns as members of the Board of Directors, which then set the agenda. Pillar Arts is inclusive and representative of artists and arts supporters in our community and all across South-Central Indiana. The mission of Pillar Arts is to strengthen and sustain the arts by connecting artists, cultural organizations, and artistic endeavors with patrons and the community.

Pillar Arts now operates the largest and oldest contemporary commercial art galleries in Monroe County, maintains a popular local events calendar, and provides impact reaching 20% of Indiana counties with more performances, art exhibits, and workshops than ever before.
