The Pipsqueakery is a 501(c)3 animal rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary located in Bloomington, Indiana. We started as a hamster rescue in 2013 and have expanded to care for a wide variety of species, including but not limited to capybaras, goats, groundhogs, beavers, turkeys, chickens, pigeons, chinchillas, ducks, opossums, squirrels, and many many more.
What We Do
The Pipsqueakery is an animal rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary located in Bloomington, Indiana. We act as a shelter for small animals (adopting out rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, etc.), perform 1,500+ small animal spay/neuters and other surgeries annually, are a sanctuary for goats, chickens, Patagonian maras, and unadoptable animals (typically for medical reasons), and also have a wildlife rehabilitation program, caring for orphaned or injured opossums, skunks, squirrels, groundhogs, turtles, and other Indiana wildlife.
