CanopyBloomington is a social impact organization in Bloomington, IN aiming to grow and sustainably manage Bloomington's urban forest for the many environmental, health, economic, and social benefits of trees with a focus on tree equity and community engagement.
Our mission is to engage Bloomington residents and youth in cooperatively stewarding our city’s urban forest and additional green infrastructure, connecting people and nature to build a flourishing, resilient, and equitably green city for all. We will host tree planting events and host educational workshops, as well as begin a Youth Tree Care Program.
