About Us
The Helping Hands initiative by Civic Champs is dedicated to supporting the Bloomington community by providing the linkage between those who need a hand, and volunteers who are ready to help.
What We Do
Helping Hands is a nonprofit initiative launched by the Civic Champs Foundation to help members of the Bloomington community during these unprecedented times. Our motto is, "Small Acts of Kindness that Leaves a Lasting Impact."
The Coronavirus outbreak has changed many of our lives within months, from following new social distancing guidelines to staying confined to our homes. Helping Hands is a project started by Civic Champs to help those who are at high risk of COVID-19.
Simple tasks such as running errands and going to the grocery store can pose a risk to many individuals’ health. The Helping Hands project will match volunteers in Bloomington with those at high-risk, to help assist them with these tasks.
