The Bloomington Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Festival is Sunday, Aug. 13, with educational activities on Aug. 14. Volunteers help with many aspects of the festival:
Distribute posters and information about school concerts, piano workshops and festival events; set up inside and outside venues, including banners, tents, tables, chairs, fencing, AC extension cords, recycling stations, etc.; take tickets and distribute programs at entrance to Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center Whikehart Auditorium; Check IDs of attendees entering alcohol sales areas; Meet, greet, transport and/or escort guest artists to hotels, venues and airports; Assist in selling CDs and festival merchandise; Take photos and videos; Tear down the evening of August 13; Recycle cans, plastics, papers; Bag trash.
