Volunteer: Crafting with SeniorsIn need of volunteers willing to lead a craft session for residents. This person will need patience and a general understanding of the physical and mental limitations in an assisted living facility. All supplies would be provided by Cedar Creek unless the volunteer would prefer to bring their own craft! The session would be 30 minutes to 1 hour. With only one activity director and limited staff to assist with activities, we are trying to find help that will allow our disabled seniors to get outside for walks! If the weather turns poor, we usually adjust to an indoor stroll or window bird watching.
