Women's Lacrosse is looking for dedicated and committed people willing to learn to officiate middle and high school girls' lacrosse. As a girls' lacrosse official, you have the best seat in the house for the fastest growing sport in the U.S., you get a stipend for each game to work out, and you can set your own schedule. While previous experience with the sport is a bonus, it is not a requirement as training is provided. Volunteers must be able to jog and sprint to keep up with the play of the game, have personal transportation and be a high school sophomore or older. Season runs mid March to end of May. Stipend is $25-$75/game. Games are usually 40-50 minutes; it generally takes 1.5 hours/game.
The next training will be at Grand Park in Westfield, IN July 28-30. There will be a classroom session and on-field training & rating. People that are interested should contact indianawlaxofficials@
