Hike in the beautiful Hoosier National Forest and pull small populations of Japanese stiltgrass as you go!
Join us partnering with Monroe County-Identify and Reduce Invasive Species, Sierra Club-Hoosier Chapter, and Hoosier National Forest to control Japanese Stiltgrass at Pate Hollow in the Hoosier National Forest.
We've been collaborating with the Hoosier
National Forest for 6 years and have seen a
remarkable reduction in the invasive Japanese Stiltgrass. The trails are clear
of the invasive weed and we can freely enjoy the wildflowers, and stunning
hardwood forests.
It is tick season, so be prepared with long pants and shirt, hat and wear shoes with closed toes. Bug spray is a good idea. Bring drinking water and snacks.
