Hospitality Service volunteers greet individuals experiencing homelessness and other visitors at Wheeler Mission--Bloomington's Guest Services Desk, help guests store their belongings, answer phone calls, and perform a variety of duties related to the security and protection of those in our care.
These tasks may include ensuring guests walk through a metal detector, searching property so that prohibited items are not brought into our Emergency Shelter Services facility, and maintaining a safe environment. Volunteers will not only help facilitate day-to-day operations but give encouragement to all who visit our Bloomington campus.
