New Hope for Families is privileged to be included as a location this year for the annual Garden Walk hosted by the Bloomington Garden Club! As you may be aware, New Hope has beautiful native plant and pollinator gardens that surround our Early Learning Center building, as well as a food garden that is used in our classroom curriculum and helps provide a ready source of food for the families that reside in our Shelter.
New Hope will have several opportunities for volunteers to get involved with this event which is to be held on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7. We will have morning and afternoon shifts available. Volunteer roles include assisting with parking, serving as a guide to direct visitors to our front door, providing refreshments, and more.
To sign up to volunteer for this event:
- Complete a New Hope volunteer profile (via computer/desktop or mobile device) if you have not already done so; and
- Then click here to review the available Garden Walk event volunteer roles and sign up for a shift.
If you have any questions about any of these event volunteer roles, please contact our Event & Volunteer Specialist, Amber Griffin, at amber@newhopeforfamilies.org or 812-334-9840 ext 119.
We hope you are able to join us as a volunteer for this event!
