Steele State Historic Site is to collect preserve and interpret the property and history of Hoosier artist Theodore Clement Steele and his wife Selma Steele; also as a part of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites to serve the community as a center for Indiana’s cultural and natural heritage. Volunteer Description Trails: Maintain and make improvements to the site’s five hiking trails, originally developed by the Steeles!
