Volunteer: Warehouse Volunteering

The Food Bank Warehouse Needs You!

We are actively seeking warehouse volunteers to help us catch up on a few different projects. Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals, crocs, or flip flops).

Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hour shifts Monday-Thursday between 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and Friday between 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Volunteers will assist with food sorting and/or bulk food packing.

Volunteer: Agency Staging Volunteers

The Hoosier Hills Food Bank is welcoming volunteers to assist with cleaning, sorting, stacking, and staging available food for agencies to select and load.

The Hoosier Hills Food Bank relies heavily upon volunteer support to complete its mission. 

People are needed between 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help with the staging of food products for pick up by agencies. The minimum age is 18. Volunteers must also be prepared and willing to lift up to 40 lbs. and maintain a positive attitude.

Come join us at the HHFB Garden at Will Detmer Park! We have 1 acre of land where we grow food for our community. Everything we grow goes to our over 100 partner agencies in 6 counties. We offer opportunities on Mondays and Fridays from 930am-Noon and are always in need of help!

WHAT TO BRING: Please wear close-toed shoes, gloves and sun protection recommended.

NO experience or green thumb necessary.
