Court-Ordered Service

  1. KNOW YOUR REQUIREMENTS
It is your responsibility to understand the court’s or the university’s requirements for hours, deadlines, and documenting your community service.

  2. SEARCH OPPORTUNITIES & MAKE CONTACT
It is your responsibility to make arrangements before you do your community service hours with each organization in which you are interested. Notify each organization that you have court-ordered service hours to complete, confirm that they can accommodate you, and ask if they are able to meet your documentation requirements before you begin your service.

  3. TRACK YOUR HOURS
Download a tracking form to document your hours. It is your responsibility  -  not the organization's - to track and verify your service hours.
