Reduce Fire Deaths - One Home at a Time

The American Red Cross will be partnering with the Perry Clear Creek Fire Department, IU Chapter of Student Veterans of America and the IU Red Cross Club for a Home Fire Campaign at Southcrest Mobile Home Park on Saturday February 18th from 1-5 p.m. The training will be at the Perry Clear Creek Fire Department. Training will be from 1-2 p.m. and installations will go from 2-5 p.m. For more information, please contact your local Red Cross office at 812-332-7292.

Volunteers can be documenters (collecting resident information, services provided, and number of alarms installed), installers (who will use ladders and drills to install the smoke detectors and teach the residents how to test their new detectors) or safety educators (teaching the residents about fire safety and assisting them in completing a home fire escape plan).
